    The Majestic Theatre

    Our volunteer positions range from helping at events, movies or live performances both during the day and in the evening. Learning the bar, technical, admin support and more. We also assist people to get their RSA, RMLV or food licence certificate and will help cover costs for them to gain this accreditation. Email

    Noosa Regional Gallery

    Are you our next ArtPlay Sunday volunteer? Do you love working with children, are you creative? We are looking for volunteers to assist at ArtPlay Sunday, a free family event held on the third Sunday of each month. Volunteers assist staff with the delivery of arts activities and interact with visiting families. This role would suit those with good communications skills, experience working with children and an interest in art and craft.     Gallery Shop/Reception Volunteer - Duties include; point of first contact for gallery visitors – greeting, making them welcome and assisting with their enquiries; providing information on exhibition and public programs; answering the main gallery phone; retail sales – customer service and general housekeeping in the shop. This role would suit those with excellent customer service skills, a fine arts & crafts background, retailing experience, flexibility, initiative and an interest in people. *Shifts are 3 hours.

    School Holiday Workshop Volunteer - During the school holidays the gallery runs art workshops for children aged 6 to 17 years facilitated by local artists. Volunteers assist with the delivery of activities including set up and pack down. This volunteer role would suit those who have experience or an interest in assisting children with a variety of arts & crafts skills.     Become a volunteer driver! Assist Noosa Seniors’ clients to their medical appointments and accessing the community. Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments between the Sunshine Coast, Gympie, and Brisbane. Volunteers receive a reimbursement of $0.88 cents per kilometre.

    Noosa Library Service offers a number of ways to get involved. You can join the Friends of Noosa Library or Friends of Mill Place (Cooroy Library). We also provide opportunities for volunteers to assist with literacy training, selecting books to be delivered to home library clients and assisting with local studies, heritage and genealogy.
