Noosa Shire Council

Volunteering Volunteering

Volunteers help build strong, healthy and inclusive communities by supporting community organisations, events and activities.

Changing Face of Volunteering Forum

Recently Noosa Council hosted the 'Changing Face of Volunteering Forum' that focused on how volunteers are now looking for episodic short term opportunities to help out, rather than the traditional long-term volunteers that stay for life. Watch the presentations here:

State Emergency Service

Noosa Shire's local SES divisons at Cooroy, Tewantin, Pomona and Boreen Point are all calling for more volunteers. The SES provides excellent training and volunteering for the SES is very rewarding. For more information call telephone Carol Watkins on 0408 078 073 and visit the SES website.
