Transport and Roads

Council encourages residents and visitors to make the most of the many different types of public transport around Noosa. Council, in partnership with Translink, also provides free public transport throughout the Noosa region during major public holiday periods.

Council builds and maintains the local road network in Noosa, including parking and road signage.

Damage to local roads, such as potholes, may be reported to Council via a customer request form

The township of Cooroy is serviced by a twice daily rail service to Brisbane. Cooroy railway station is a heritage-listed railway station at 14 Myall Street, Cooroy. Information about track closures that may affect travel by rail can be found on Queensland Rail's trackwork calendar.
