Council Budgets
The changing landscape for 2026–27 Budget.
Noosa Council adopted its 2026–27 Budget on Tuesday, 23 June.
Developed in a challenging economic environment of rising costs and global uncertainty, this year’s $200 million budget aims to balance financial responsibility with maintaining the high standard of services and facilities our community expects.
Council has worked to minimise the impact of rising operating costs and recent land valuation increases, while continuing to support households through measures like the on‑time rates discount and full pensioner rebate. The budget also includes a $56 million Capital Works program and significant investment in disaster recovery across the hinterland.
Below is a snapshot of the key initiatives, major projects and headline figures for the year ahead.
