Staying safe in the surf
Noosa Council contracts Surf Life Saving Queensland to provide lifeguard services at Noosa’s patrolled beaches, and Council encourages swimmers to keep to these areas, and to download the Beachsafe app.
The app includes current information about beach locations and patrol services, hazards, facilities as well as weather, swell and tide details.
The Beachsafe app has been designed to help you choose the right beach for your needs, so you can relax and safely enjoy your visit.
Surf Lifesaving Australia developed the Beachsafe app in an ongoing commitment to increasing aquatic safety.
