Climate Change Response Grants

Climate change

The Climate Change Response Grant Program supports community led initiatives that contribute to the goals and targets outlined in the Climate Change Response Plan, the Coastal Hazards Adaptation Plan, and the Regional Climate Adaptation Roadmap.

Funding is available for projects that deliver tangible and measurable outcomes and help build a more sustainable and climate resilient Noosa.

This annual grant program supports initiatives that:

  • Contribute to achieving net zero emissions
  • Assist Noosa Shire's transition to 100% renewable electricity
  • Increase the capacity of residents, businesses, and community groups to reduce emissions
  • Support adaptation to the impacts of climate change

Projects must demonstrate clear environmental benefits and measurable outcomes aligned with the program objectives.
