Join Noosa Council's Feedback Panel

Hearing from different members of our community is important to us. It helps us to make decisions and improve our services in line with community expectations and available resources.

We are creating a panel, comprising of residents and ratepayers who wish to provide feedback to Council.

The Panel will service two purposes:

  1. Help create a representative sample of our community for statistically valid research and feedback on Council services and responsibilities.  When we undertake research, a different randomised list of participants is created.  This means you may not be invited to participate in every activity.  To assist in creating each representative panel, we will ask for demographic information such as age, gender and the suburb in which you live.

  2. We will also utilise the panel for major community engagement projects to provide feedback on various topics to inform decision making.

Using this approach, the feedback from the Panel will be in addition to other methods designed to collect engagement feedback from everyone in the broader community, such as Your Say Noosa surveys, community pop-up events and email submissions.

We may use this panel approximately 6 times per year, however as some of the research involves randomised samples, you may not receive an invitation for each engagement activity.
