Go Noosa Sustainable Transport

Go Noosa is a Council-funded initiative that promotes sustainable and active transport options to help manage traffic congestion during Noosa’s busiest holiday periods. The program is delivered by Noosa Council and funded through the Sustainable Transport Levy, supporting the goals of the Noosa Transport Strategy 2017–2027.

The program encourages residents and visitors to choose active and sustainable travel options—such as walking, cycling, and using public transport—to reduce private car use, ease congestion, improve safety, and protect Noosa’s natural environment.

Council’s vision is for an efficient, free-flowing, and innovative transport system that enhances the experience of residents and visitors alike, while achieving sustainable environmental outcomes for the Shire.
