Background

Council’s Noosa North Shore ferry service has been operated by Noosa North Shore Ferries  (part of the Entrada Travel Group) since July 2024.

Days and Times of Operation

The Noosa North Shore ferry service operates every day of the year providing return transportation from the river end of Moorindil Street, Tewantin, across to Maximillion Road, Noosa North Shore.

The ferry operates 365 days a year and departs approximately every 10 minutes during the following days and times:

  • Sunday to Thursday - 5:30am to 10:20pm
  • Friday and Saturday – 5:30am to 12:20am
  • After hours callouts are also available for an additional fee

The service includes two purpose-built cable ferries and provides vehicle and foot passenger transportation.

Noosa Council sets the hours of operation (see above) and fares.

Tickets can be purchased online on the website or paid by cash or card once onboard.
