Peregian Beach

Osprey Park (Peregian Duck Ponds Reserve), Osprey Avenue, Peregian Beach

Osprey Park or "the duck ponds" as the locals call it, is a sliver of natural swamp reserve. At the right time of year, this park is alive with wildlife. There is a seat overlooking the pond and a winding pathway to stroll along. Across the road, there are several beach accesses that open onto Peregian Beach.

There are two sets of playground equipment including a six deck combination unit, crawl tunnel, motorbike rocker and a see-saw.

This park has lovely new playground equipment and soft fall. There is freshwater, seating and the convenience of a bus stop right out the front. A pathway runs the length of the park taking you through to the surrounding streets. The park is set high on a hill and gives an amazing view of the ocean.

This park is ideal for events. It is a designated dog off-leash area at all times. Great for walking and exercising, with the park featuring a range of exercise equipment including an aerobic cycle, cross trainer, elliptical trainer, body twist, sit up bench, surfboard, body pulls push-ups, chest press, shoulder press, leg press, lateral pull-down, leg raises and pull-ups, and a hip twister.
