Summer Holiday Transport & Parking Options

The popular free bus loop is provided by Council which operates Saturday, 13 December 2025– Monday, 26 January 2026 including public holidays.

Buses will run approximately every: 

• 15 minutes from 7am – 7pm 
• 30 minutes from 7pm – 10pm 
• 30 minutes 7pm New Year's Eve until 1am New Year's Day.
• Note: traffic congestion may impact on the service frequency. 

The Go Noosa Loop Bus will travel in clockwise direction and service Noosa Drive, Weyba Road, Noosa Parade, Hastings Street. 

The bus will stop at existing bus stops on the loop (as requested) as well as at temporary bus stops outside the Noosa AFL grounds/Farmers Market and near the Post Office in Noosa Junction  (opposite The J).  

Normal Translink Fares apply to all other Public transport bus services  - All Translink fares are 50cents one way

The following routes travel in or through Noosa;

• Route 626 Tewantin to Sunrise Beach via Noosa Heads
• Route 627 Tewantin to Sunshine Beach via Noosa Heads
• Route 628 Noosa Parklands to Noosa Junction via Noosa Civic
• Route 629 Tewantin to Noosa Junction via Noosa Civic
• Route 632 Noosa to Cooran via Cooroy and Pomona. 

The following bus services travel outside the Noosa Shire

• Route 620 Noosa Heads to Maroochydore.
• Route 622 Maroochydore to Noosa Junction.
• Route 630 Noosa Junction to Nambour via Eumundi.
• Route 631 Noosa Junction to Nambour via Eumundi and Cooroy

Park & Go areas are designated locations where you can park your car—either for free or for a small fee—and continue your journey around the Noosa Shire using alternative transport options such as the free holiday bus loop 9065), Translink public transport bus services or active travel such as walking and cycling.

These areas help reduce traffic congestion near popular destinations and make it easier for everyone to enjoy Noosa during busy holiday periods.

Several Park & Go locations provide convenient connections to Main Beach, Noosa Heads, and other key destinations. Some sites operate temporarily during peak holiday seasons to help manage increased visitor traffic and support smoother travel across the Shire.

Catching the Noosa Ferry to Hastings Street

You can catch the Noosa Ferry into Hastings Street.

A full trip between Tewantin and Hastings Street takes around 35 to 45 minutes, depending on how many passengers are boarding or disembarking at each stop.
