A Free, Family-Friendly Event to Support Our Local Environment
Hosted by Noosa Council, this free, family-friendly event marks Planet Ark’s National Tree Day with a community planting of 2,000 plants to help restore local habitat. All planting holes are pre-dug and tools are provided, so no experience is necessary — just bring enclosed shoes, long sleeves and pants, your own water, and a love for nature.
Beyond the planting, there’s live music from Syms & Sanderson, free coffee for adults, VIP wildlife encounters, nature-themed face painting for the kids, and environmental education activities for all ages.
What to Expect:
- All planting holes pre-dug for easy participation

- VIP Wildlife Encounters with fascinating native animals
