Creative Teens Art Workshop : Monday 21st September : 1-3pm @ Cooroy Library

Join our regular Creative Teens class leader, Sophie as we explore abstract self-portraits in this special 2 hour school holiday workshop

Workshop Theme: Japanese Kinusaiga-Inspired Sunset

Join us these holidays for a creative afternoon inspired by the beautiful Japanese art of kinusaiga — a traditional form of fabric art often described as “patchwork without sewing.”

Using colourful foam sheets and fabric, we’ll explore texture, colour and layering to create our own unique sunset artwork. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll build your design piece by piece, choosing fabrics and colours to capture the warmth of a glowing sunset.

No sewing experience is needed — just bring your creativity and imagination! Over a couple of hours, you’ll create a finished artwork to take home and enjoy
