Teen Skate-Deck Design Workshop (Pomona Community House) Friday 17th April 1-4pm
You know what’s really cool about skateboarding? Not just that repetitive action of trying again and again to make a trick stick, but that unspoken culture, community and connection formed around something as simple as standing on a piece of wood with wheels. It’s all about finding your people!
And that’s where this workshop comes in, let’s create together and find people that love what you love.
Join us while we paint/draw on our skateboards (decks supplied or bring your own if you prefer), make pals and find our people within our community

Welcome to our Kids’ Jungle Yoga & Creative Play Workshop, a playful and immersive experience designed to help children move, imagine, and connect with their bodies in a fun and supportive environment.
Suitable for kids between 6-12 years old, this session is filled with yoga-inspired games, encouraging kids to stretch, balance, and explore movement while building confidence and body awareness. We’ll weave in simple, child-friendly breathing exercises that help little ones settle, focus, and feel calm.
To boost concentration and cognitive skills, children will also enjoy a range of brain-boosting mini‑challenges, including memory and matching games, sequencing tasks, and fun focus activities.
Our jungle adventure continues through storytelling, themed movement, and creative play. Kids will get to bring animals to life with face‑mask painting and imaginative activities that make the whole workshop feel connected, engaging, and full of wonder.

Wednesday April 15, 2026 -Weaving with Yarn & Nature (10-11am)
We begin by learning how to create a traditional God’s Eye weaving, then gather natural treasures to weave into our pieces — leaves, grasses, and found textures from the gardens. This workshop nurtures focus, fine motor skills, and a deeper appreciation for nature’s patterns and materials.
