Services Hastings St, Noosa Dr, Weyba Rd and Noosa Pde in a clockwise direction.
The service operates every:
- 15 minutes from 7am - 7pm
- 30 minutes from 7pm - 10pm
Pedestrian and Traffic Changes for Main Beach Precinct
Until 21 April 2025
Building on lessons learned from last year, we've made improvements to enhance safety, traffic flow and visitor experience in Hastings Street and Main Beach, and Noosa Heads Lions Park.
Why are we doing this?
- Improved traffic safety and efficiency: Ensuring safe and efficient movement, particularly during peak periods.
- Emergency Access: Providing additional dedicated spaces and clear access for emergency services to respond effectively when needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Addressing last year’s challenges, including traffic delays and insufficient wayfinding signage, to create a smoother, more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Parking area changes - 5-21 April 2025
- Noosa Heads Lions Park designated as temporary overflow parking from 5-21 April 2025
- Free Park-and-Ride at AFL grounds, with directional signs and variable message boards guiding traffic.
- Two temporary bus stops along the Free Bus Loop Route are located at Noosa Drive (The J) and Weyba Road (AFL Grounds) for improved public transport travel options.
Trial Parking and Streetscape Changes (between Noosa Parade and Hastings St) continues until 21 April 2025
- Additional motorcycle parking bays and loading zone relocation.
- Expanded footpaths for improved pedestrian safety.
- Enhanced pedestrian navigation signs, pedestrian marshals and traffic controllers to improve accessibility and safety.

- This plan reflects our ongoing commitment to making Hastings Street and Main Beach safer, more efficient, and more enjoyable for everyone.
Holiday Parking
Noosa Heads Lions Park - Temporary Paid Parking
During the Easter holidays, the Noosa Heads Lions Park is temporarily opened for paid parking on selected days. The paid parking is managed by the Tewantin-Noosa Lions Club, on behalf of Noosa Council, with 60% of the revenue going towards their charitable works. View on map.

Trailer and Boat Parking
The Noosa Sea Scouts offer boat trailer parking at their campground conveniently located near the Noosa River. Proceeds support their program.
Noosa Sea Scouts: $10/day or $50/week.
Location: Near Noosa River.

Noosa Ferry

Spend more time at the beach and less time looking for a park, it only takes 20 minutes to ride a push bike from Tewantin to Hastings Street. Get there even faster on an e-bike or e-scooter. Park front and centre at one of our many convenient bike rack locations along Hastings Street, Main Beach and the Noosa National Park.
