Go Noosa Weekends aims to provide a relaxed and convenient travelling experience that helps locals and visitors better access busy locations at peak traffic and parking times.
The free weekend services also offer a unique way to experience the hinterland and popular day trip attractions such as the Hinterland Adventure Playground, the Butter Factory, Mt Cooroora (Pomona), the Noosa Trail Network and a range of local markets, eateries and shops.
Building on the success of Noosa’s Free Holiday Buses, we are excited to be running a 12-month Free Weekend Bus Trial from the 12 February 2022 to the 12 February 2023.
Weekend travel will be free on the 626, 627, 628, 629 and 632 Translink services and will offer locals and visitors a more sustainable, affordable and stress free way to experience the best of both the Hinterland and the Coast.
For timetable information on routes 626, 627, 628, 629, and 632 visit Translink or call Translink on 13 12 30.
Please note: Routes 620, 622, 630 and 631 travel outside of the Noosa Shire Council area and are not included in the free service.
The free weekend bus services will be extended to the ANZAC Day, Labour Day, Queen's Birthday and Noosa Show public holidays.
In delivering these services, Council is continuing its commitment to moving towards zero emissions and providing the community with more varied travel options that promote active and healthy choices in the region.
