Street Performers & Buskers
All street performers operating within the Noosa Shire are required to hold a current permit issued by Council.
Under Noosa Council Local Law No 1 (Administration), street performing and busking are classified as prescribed activities and therefore require a permit when carried out on Council-controlled land. These regulations help ensure community safety, balance performers needs with those of the community, and protect local infrastructure.
To apply, complete the Street Performance Application Form and submit it to Council for assessment. Applications can be emailed to mail@noosa.qld.gov.au.
For more information about the application process, refer to Street Performance Frequently Asked Questions(PDF, 203KB) and Busking Procedure(PDF, 206KB).
