Living Well will be trialling a series of holiday workshops for kids and teens in collaboration with Noosaville & Cooroy libraries and the Botanical Gardens
Dance Workshops (Noosaville & Cooroy libraries) - Kids & Teens
Kids can join an Indigenous Dance Workshop Monday 13 January at Noosaville from 10:45 to 11:30am, followed by a second session at Cooroy from 1:45 to 2:30pm.
Teens (11-18 years) can join a Hip Hop Workshop on Friday 9th January - at Cooroy from 10:45 to 11:30am, followed by a second session at Noosaville from 1:45 to 2:30pm.

Yoga Workshops (Cooroy library) - Kids & Teens
Come and join our regular kids and teens yoga teacher, Florence; to explore the benefits Yoga can offer young bodies and minds in a fun and interactive way
Kids (6-11years) can join our 15th January workshop and Teens (12-18 years) can join our 22nd January workshop ; both held at Cooroy library and running 1pm-4pm
Yoga Kids Workshop | 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm - Thursday 15 January 2026 (Cooroy Library)
This 3-hour workshop is a fun and nurturing experience designed to support children’s wellbeing, focus, and connection.
✨ What’s included:
•Yoga games to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork
• Brain & focus activities to support concentration and listening skills
• Mandala painting for mindfulness, creativity, and emotional expression
• Seedling planting & pot decoration to connect with nature and care
• Yoga flow, breathing & relaxation to help children slow down and self-regulate
• Closing circle to reflect and finish feeling calm and happy
The workshop balances movement, creativity, mindful activities, and relaxation in a safe and joyful environment. Children will leave feeling connected, confident, and relaxed
Yoga Teens Workshop | 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm - Thursday 22 January 2026 (Cooroy Library)
This 3-hour workshop offers teenagers a supportive and inspiring space to explore emotional awareness, self-expression, and inner balance through yoga and mindful practices.
✨ What we will focus on:
• Yoga practice to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness
• Emotional connection through the chakras, supporting self-understanding and balance
• Meditation and breathing techniques to manage stress, emotions, and improve focus
• Journaling to encourage reflection, emotional literacy, and self-expression
• Vision board creation to set goals and intentions for the start of the year, supporting motivation, clarity, and positive direction
The workshop blends movement, creativity, and mindfulness in a safe, age-appropriate environment. Teens will gain practical tools they can use throughout the year to support emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and confidence.
