Project details:

Work has commenced on construction of the next 10 bus stops to be brought up to disability compliance standards.

Bus stops will close temporarily during the work.  Notices advising of closures and alternative arrangements will be placed at affected stops.

Duration: Work on all bus stops to be completed by May 2018, weather dependent.

Location: Weyba Road
Project details:

As part of Council's annual road resurfacing program construction continues on the Weyba Road corridor upgrade, between the Reef Street roundabout and Leslie Drive, Noosaville.

Work is progressing well with pavement resurfacing and line marking day work to be completed by Friday, 16 February. Work will now shift to night work for the remaining linemarking and resurfacing.

Location: Noosa River Holiday Park
Project details:

Work to update and renew two amenities blocks at the Noosa River Holiday Park will be staged to minimise the impact on holiday park customers.

Construction to be undertaken between February 2018 and December 2018.

Peregian Beach  
Location: David Low Way
Project details:

Contractors will commence preparatory work on the new Peregian Beach Digital Hub this week. To make way for the Digital Hub building, Council will close the existing carpark on David Low Way. The carpark will remain open however, until the finishing touches are complete on the new temporary carpark, next to the tennis club.

The $3M project is funded by Council, with the Queensland Government contributing $1M in grant funding.

Project details:

Council has obtained a development approval for upgrades to the holiday park and plans to commence work in May 2018.

Detailed design for the project has now commenced with works to be completed between May 2018 and November 2018.

Location: Poinciana Avenue
Project details:

As part of Council’s annual road resurfacing program, construction will commence shortly on the Poinciana Avenue, Tewantin road upgrade, between Werin Street and Sidoni Street. To reduce the impact on residents and holidaymakers over the Easter period the project will be staged.

Stage 1 commencing in February 2018 will see construction of a wider pathway and new parking bays and a new left turning lane at the Moorindil Street/Poinciana Avenue roundabout.
