Location: Black Mountain Road, Black Mountain
Project details:

On Tuesday, 25th July Black Mountain Road will be closed to traffic between 9.30am and 1.30pm. This closure will allow sealing of the newly constructed road.

Traffic control will be in place with a detour diverting traffic through Andersons Road and Middle Creek Road, Federal.

Location: Gympie Terrace and Thomas Street
Project details:

The existing drainage line between the Noosaville foreshore and along Thomas Street will be replaced in January 2017. Several trees in the foreshore park will be removed and replaced with similar species during the work.

Traffic control will be in place for pedestrian and motorist safety with some kerbside parking bays on Thomas Street closed during the work.

Location: Noosa River Holiday Park
Project details:

Work to update and renew two amenities blocks at the Noosa River Holiday Park will be staged to minimise the impact on holiday park customers.

Construction to be undertaken between February 2018 and October 2018.

Lake Weyba Drive

Project details:

Council staff will soon commence work to construct the Lake Weyba Drive bus turn around and repair the stormwater network. This work will see the bus service no longer turning out of Creek Road, instead travelling down Lake Weyba Drive to turn around.

The road will be open to traffic, with traffic control in place. Pedestrian and cycle access will be diverted around the site via Creek Road.

Location: Rufous Street, Rufous Laneway and David Low Way
Project details:

Council has awarded the contract for work to begin. Work will include formalising carparks, landscaping, upgrading Rufous Street laneway and pedestrian refuge and crossing work.

Access to all facilities will be maintained with traffic control in place for vehicles and pedestrians.

Start date: 25 January 2017
Duration: Completion by 31 May 2017, weather permitting.

Location: David Low Way
Project details:

Contractors will commence preparatory work on the new Peregian Beach Digital Hub this week. To make way for the Digital Hub building, Council will close the existing carpark on David Low Way. The carpark will remain open however, until the finishing touches are complete on the new temporary carpark, next to the tennis club.

The $3M project is funded by Council, with the Queensland Government contributing $1M in grant funding.

Location: Kinmond Creek Road, Cootharaba
Project details:

Contractors will shortly commence work to demolish and construct new drainage structures (culverts) on Kinmond Creek Road, between Galloways Lane and Dr Pages Road. This work is required to replace deteriorating culverts, which have resulted in the road being load limited.

The road will be open to traffic under the direction of traffic control for the safety of the public.
