Noosaville  
Location: Gibson Road, Hilton Terrace, Gympie Terrace
Project details:

Work to reseal sections of Gibson Road, Hilton Terrace and Gympie Terrace will commence on 5 November 2017. Work will be undertaken at night between 6pm and 6am.

All lanes of traffic will be open during the day.

Location: Noosa River Holiday Park
Project details:

Work to update and renew two amenities blocks at the Noosa River Holiday Park will be staged to minimise the impact on holiday park customers.

Construction to be undertaken between February 2018 and December 2018.

Location: Wallace Park
Project details: Work to replace pathways around the Noosaville Library and Noosa Leisure Centre at Wallace Park. The work includes:
  • Construction of new concrete pathways and removal of a number of paths that get little use.
  • Removal of a number of unhealthy or undesirable trees
Start date: Mid-September 2017
Duration: Work is expected to be finished by November, subject to weather conditions.

Peregian Beach  
Location: David Low Way
Project details:

Contractors will commence preparatory work on the new Peregian Beach Digital Hub this week. To make way for the Digital Hub building, Council will close the existing carpark on David Low Way. The carpark will remain open however, until the finishing touches are complete on the new temporary carpark, next to the tennis club.

The $3M project is funded by Council, with the Queensland Government contributing $1M in grant funding.

Start date: May 2017

Tewantin  
Location: Cooroy Noosa Road, Tewantin
Project details:

Contractors will soon commence work resealing sections of Cooroy Noosa Road Tewantin. The work will be completed at night between 6pm and 6am.

Traffic control will be in place during night work with all lanes of traffic open during the day.

Start date: Mid November 2017
Duration: Completion by mid December 2017, weather dependent

Location: Kinmond Creek Road, Cootharaba
Project details:

Contractors have commenced work to demolish and construct new drainage structures (culverts) on Kinmond Creek Road, between Galloways Lane and Dr Pages Road. This work is required to replace deteriorating culverts, which have resulted in the road being load limited.

This section of road is now open under traffic control.

Project details: The work includes widening and resealing the road, installing new guardrail & new median island. The work will increase safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
