Everyday all around Australia, Lifeline is seeking to recruit volunteers. Lifeline is looking for people from all walks of life who would like to make a commitment to regular volunteer work and who are willing to learn new skills, support others and work within the vision and values of lifeline.
The Sunshine Coast community identifies up to 5,000 at-risk children every year. In response, SunnyKids provides thousands of nights of emergency accommodation, as well as domestic violence and referral counselling, and we partner with health, education and child protection agencies to keep kids safe.

Meals on Wheels is an iconic Australian Not for Profit organisation that has been bringing local communities together for more than 60 years. The 15,000 volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible, deliver 2 million meals a year across Queensland, to more than 10,000 people with a wide variety of support needs, not just meals for seniors.
|Pets For Life||A free service to people who live in the Sunshine Coast/Noosa region who would like support with caring for their companion animal. Volunteers are connected with pet owners who wish to participate in the program and are seeking assistance with practical tasks such as dog walking, changing a litter tray or administering simple medication.||Register|
|Sunny Street||Providing healthcare for those experiencing homelessness and vulnerability. We are always looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join us and get involved in regular clinics or event participation.||Register|
|State Emergency Services||Noosa Shire's local SES divisions at Cooroy, Tewantin, Pomona and Boreen Point welcome new volunteers. The SES provides excellent training, and volunteering for the SES is rewarding.||Website|

|Sunshine Butterflies||Program Volunteers Programs run daily from 9am – 3pm, ranging from Cooking, Art, Music, Drama and much more. Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and assist in encouraging our to members in participating in all of our programs. Days can be discussed on application. |Sunshine Butterflies||Garden Volunteers We are looking for volunteers who have time to spare to help us maintain our beautiful 5 acre hub, watering, weeding and caring for our gardens here at Our Backyard. This role would be perfect for semi-retired or retired locals. Shifts can be as short as 3 hours PER WEEK, preferably in the morning. Start time 8am.
Animal Enclosure Care We also need more volunteers for the cleaning of the Animal enclosures, we have a multitude of animals here at Our Backyard whose enclosures need cleaning on a daily basis. If you have a genuine love of animals we would love to hear from you.
