Surfboard Swap Meet (Every Second Sunday of the Month)
Members of the community will gather once a month to swap and trade used surfboards and surfing related equipment. Estimated attendance between 50 and 100 people
The swap meet main goal is to facilitate the gathering of members of the Sunshine Coast surf community interested in trade/swap used surfing gear, furthermore the event will be a place to meet new people and share knowledge and experiences about equipment and surfing in general. General Rules • Only USED surf items to be traded • Free entry • No Companies, only independent sellers allowed Potential sponsors and Partners • Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club will be offered a stall in the event to collect donations and club registrations • A major surf brand Dates for the first 4 events (Second Sunday of the Month) • June 12th 2022 • July 10th 2022 • August 14th 2022 • September 11th 2022 An example of successful swap meet event is the Hanalei Swapmeet in the island of Kauai, Hawaii, the event is going on for 23 years.
