Digital Sunshine Coast

The Digital Sunshine Coast  website provides a host of information on all things digital including a new report that’s designed to help small business access the internet.  

Advance Queensland - Community Digital Champion Nominations are now open!

Community Digital Champions help to teach communities about the benefits of going digital—in their businesses or in their day-to-day lives, increasing people’s digital awareness, adoption and online participation.  

Once chosen, 'Champions' are in the role for 12 months to share their knowledge and experiences with the local community. They have opportunities to network and collaborate with other champions and even receive an invitation to a roundtable event at Parliament House.

Using the State Government's Business Queensland Information Technology (IT) for Business website, take a short assessment to obtain your Digital Scorecard.  This is a great way to find out how digitally prepared your business is and how you compare to your business-world peers.

Myriad Festival

Digital Sunshine Coast Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

A draft map was created by Digital Sunshine Coast to provide a visual representation of the Sunshine Coast’s growing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. It is designed to capture the support and resources available for new, emerging and established entrepreneurs within the Sunshine Coast region.

By mapping the Sunshine Coast’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Digital Sunshine Coast wants to encourage closer partnerships that will cement the Sunshine Coast’s position as a leading region for innovation and business development.

Digital Sunshine Coast is seeking feedback, including suggestions and ideas for the draft Ecosystem map. Provide feedback here

  • Digital Sunshine Coast is a website that promotes awareness of new digital technologies and ways to modernise business systems. View the events page which advertises courses and workshops for beginners and established business people.
  • The Queensland Government's business and industry portal is an online resource for business people. With information on a broad range of business-related topics from starting out, business planning, researching grant opportunities to employment obligations.
  • The strategic direction of the Department of State Development is to deliver Queensland's economic prosperity by championing the interests of business and industry. The business events and grants information on the website may be very useful for business owners and operators.
