Come-N-Try Sports
Each year Noosa Council hosts two Come-n-Try Sports (winter and summer) afternoons for the primary school children in the Shire. Local sports clubs from around the district send coaches and volunteers, who lead the children through a range of run, age-appropriate activities.
The afternoon begins with a light fruit snack, followed by one and a half – two hours of sports on a rotational basis. Local sports clubs from around the district send coaches and volunteers, who lead the children through a range of fun, age-appropriate activities.
All primary aged children are welcome to attend.
There will be two Winter Come-n-Try events, in Tewantin and Cooroy. Registration is essential for either event at the link below.
Tewantin
Date: Tuesday 13 February
Time: 3.30 – 5.30pm
Location: Noosa District Sports Complex, 67 McKinnon Dve, Tewantin
Cooroy
Date: Tuesday 20 February
Time: 4.00 – 5.30pm
Location: Cooroy Sports Complex, 35 Mary River Rd, Tewantin
